Spontaneous Lunar Combustion by ~jeevani:iconjeevani:

Tree leaves rustling by and by
Gazing up into the sky
The moon was there, but now it’s not
It seems the sunlight got too hot
Great stone pieces, flying fast
Moonface shattered now, like glass
Someone’s coming through the sky
A child on a bike, can’t fly
Hits the fence beside the tree
Is he alright? I must go see.
Run to help, but he’s not there
Instead, I meet coyote’s stare
He turns tail and runs away
I chase him into fading day
Turn a corner, where’s he gone?
I feel I’m being used; A pawn
White rabbit leaping down a hole
He dropped his pocket-watch, oh no!
Pick it up to hand it back
Its chain is tightening its slack
Crawling up my arm and face
Holding me now, tight in place
Press my back against the tree
Tie me back, no longer free
Wood opens up, pulls me within
See coyote’s face again
Reach out and see his smile bend
This one is surely not my friend
For now he’s biting on my hand
The bloodstain burning like a brand
My eyes snap open and it’s dark
Far away from moonlight stark
If it’s a dream within a dream
Is it really all we see or seem?

A dream.

A freaky dream.

The kid on the bike, and the FIRST coyote, refer to Colin, I've no idea why, but he was in it :XD:

The moon and the kid on the flying bike remind me of ET. And there is some Alice in Wonderland, if I am not mistaken. The dreamlike quality really makes it flow well. I like it!

Haven't you ever seen the kid on the flying bike silhouetted against the moon? Cause the first part sounds just like that. Then Colin hits the fence. He was OK, right?
And the imagery was beautiful, I don't know if I mentioned it the first time.
